Fuji SMBE Group extends benefits of ISO9001 QA to customers in preparation for release of AS/NZS-61439
The Fuji SMBE Group, is extending its quality assurance and customer satisfaction initiatives with the implementation of ISO9001 QA.
The world's most recognised business management standard, Quality Management Systems with ISO 9001 certification now extend across both Fuji SMBE Harwal at Lane Cove and Fuji SMBE Macquarie at Wetherill Park.
With combined manufacturing facilities of over 5,000sqm, Fuji SMBE Harwal and Fuji SMBE Macquarie specialize in the Australian design, manufacture and testing of custom-engineered modular constructed low voltage electrical switchboards and motor control technology which can be delivered to short lead times as required.
Fuji SMBE Macquarie Director Mr Peter Silsby says benefits of ISO9001 QA include driving measurable, cost-saving performance improvements while demonstrating an ability to consistently provide product that meets customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
"There is a new switchboard standard AS/NZS61439 that will be released this year, imposing stringent new verification requirements on switchboard manufacturers. The ISO certification and this new standard therefore go hand in hand, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to statutory and regulatory requirements."
"As a leading Australian manufacturer, for many years, we strive constantly to deliver world best standards of quality in products manufactured locally to best respond to local needs."
Fuji SMBE Group products include the latest, third, generation, of iNTELECT switchboards, which extend an iNTELECT product line of which tens of thousands have been manufactured in Australia, giving reliable service in data centres, banks, schools, hospitals, power stations, shopping centres, mines and factories. Different versions of the iNTELECT range have been sold in over 23 countries.
